Hall of Remarkable Ships: Interfactor

From one of the creators of the Legendary Tyrfing, comes another visually striking ship - the Interfactor. We are more than glad to announce it's addition to the Hall of Remarkable Ships.

Built by Senarious Nex, the Interfactor is an unusually rigged ship, sporting additional square sails near the top of the mainmast. The ship makes an excellent addition to TaN's arsenal.

Hall of Remarkable Ships: The Legendary Tyrfing

The Legendary Tyrfing needs no introduction, as the modified version of this vessel has stirred quite a bit of controversy. After careful consideration, we are pleased to announce the introduction of this famed ship into the HoRS.

Crafted by quazy_crotch and Senarious Nex, the boldly named Legendary Tyrfing is one of the latest vessels commissioned by the TaN group. The ship boasts a marvellous looking hull and solid rigging. To this day, the Legendary Tyrfing is one of the most powerful man-of-wars in Privateer.

New Waters on the Horizon

Gm_treasurehunt is due to receive an update that improves visuals, adds map border indicators and various other tweaks. The plan is to have it ready by the end of this week.

Lore: Man-of-War Sets New Record

Last night players bore witness to a grand event - the record for most armed and operational ship has been set. The Tyrfing, constructed by captains Senarious Nex and quazy_crotch, was armed with 108 guns. The result - a ship with enough fire-power to bring down any vessel in one broadside, dealing over 6000 damage.

Using some clever engineering, it was made possible to mount large racks of cannons onto the ship. 90 guns can be adjusted for short and long range fire, while 18 are stationary. To operate the ships armaments, a crew of 6 must be present. Each crew member controls a module comprised of 18 cannons. The captain is responsible for steering the ship, issuing commands and controlling the stationary guns.

The Tyrfing's crew was made up of the original creators, plus volunteers, including Joey Skylynx, Dukeboys - Slug King, Karolis O. and O{courrupted hawk} Gtadrs.

The Tyrfing continued wrecking havoc well into the morning, until finally being brought back into port and decommissioned.
